Details About High School Baseball Below

Baseball playoffs are the ultimate High School For Me!

I prayed that this would be excellent game rained the day before because I had a job umpiring and would not be able to see them. My prayers were answered, and this game was postponed until today, and I will be able to see it!

I look forward to watching much on this game, which at the beginning of 3:00. I go to my favorite deli, Anthony's Deli in Mamaroneck, New York, and thus a wedge. It is at about 1:45 and I still have plenty of time to visit this Matchup between Suffern High School and Mamaroneck High School. At the Deli, I see Steve, a fellow umpire and tell him that I have this Game is going to sit under a tree in the shade, eat a fabulous wedge and watch the classic Matchup. I asked him what could be better than this. Steve smiled and shook his head and answered: "Larry, nothing is better." Steve has asked me to call him on his cell phone to give him updates.

The Spanking Mamaroneck fabulous team against a very good team, beating Suffern the incomparable Robbie Aviles is on the hill. Incomparable, as in a 0.24 ERA for the year! Are you kidding me? A quarter of a run per seven innings! It is no surprise that he is expected to go in the MLB draft high next week.

Okay, So my journey of about 45 minutes to reach the park (Told my wife, Wendy, that I would drive halfway across the country to watch this match.) They shook the head, almost insinuating that there is something wrong with me. You obviously do not share my passion for the game.

I'll start 2:30 for 03.00 clock. I did get up early to make sure I put on my chair in one of the best locations in the park to watch the game. I enjoy my wedge from Anthony's and wait about ten minutes for the much-anticipated first pitch from Robbie.

It is now show time, and I'm really for this game and so are the three hundred or so present. (Very good amount considering it is a beginning 03.00 clock on a weekday.) Robbie pulls the first batter Mamaroneck. It is then the number two hitter. His pitching coach visited him on the hill, and sends a red flag. It makes no sense, with a mound visit with this man on the hill. After a minute or two Passes, it becomes increasingly clear to everyone that something is very wrong here. A minute passes and it is now definitely clear that something is wrong. Robbie is removed from the game. Must be an injury, is not it? Yes it is. Later I found out that it was an elbow issue.

My thoughts are that I see this classic confrontation traveled and I have only two batters to see Robbie. What a disappointment for me and I'm pretty sure many others. Right fielder Nick Kulbaba is to the hills called. He warms up for about fifteen minutes because he allowed, as long as he wants because the pitcher was removed due to injury.

During his warm ups I am beginning to like each team will react to this sudden change of plans for thought. I do not have the answer, which it helps a team. If the team the Suffern just lost their ace starting to hang their heads? If the Mamaroneck team benefit? I honestly do not the answer. But I know that logic says me that I would rather face anybody other than Robbie. With all due respect, Robbie is in a class by itself and therefore sometimes a few dozen Scouts are present.

Okay, we play to resume and Nick quietly to end strike two batter to the top of the first inning. Nick continues to breeze along and not allow a hit until the sixth inning! Not bad, huh? Suffern scores single runs in the first, fourth and bottom of the sixth, leading 3-0 going into the seventh and final inning.

About the fifth inning, I told a guy I met on the game does not list Mamaroneck. These guys can hit! Well so much for my predictions. The bats came Mamaroneck never. Suffern gets two hits, knocking around in their third run in the bottom of the sixth and one had to sting. At 2-0 you're still in the game. At 3-0 in the last inning, I think, to think that maybe not your day.

In the top of the seventh with one out, Mamaroneck is a ray of hope with a bunt single. This is only their second Hit from Nick. But nothing materialized, and they lose 3-0. My thoughts after the game are that I tip my hat to Nick. He came into the game with one in the first inning and he was lights out and pitched a gem. I will never forget how great he was and hope he never does either. Brilliant performance! And I'm not really disturbed that I not see Robbie, with the exception of only the two doughs he faced. Hey ... Nick hit shutout against the defending two goals twice New York State Champions and there is not much better than that.

Mamaroneck and is a perennial powerhouse and their outstanding achievements should never be overlooked. I have many times they saw as their home field is only fifteen minutes from my house and the reason why I can visit to see great baseball. It would be very hard pressed, a better program and their coaching staff to find is unsurpassed.

After the game in the parking lot, I met with the three arbitrators, who were assigned to this very important game. I asked the board made that was dominant referee Nick Sun He told me that Nick simply a very good fast ball well located, good curveball and he had interfered in about five or six changeups. The pitching is not?

No I did not see, but Robbie this was really a great game. Hats off to both teams and thanks for a great afternoon in the park What a pleasure! To me, this is the best deal on earth. No charge for parking my car. No cost for tickets. Completely free, these two heavyweights prominently observed.

No losers in this one. Only one winner, but no losers!
