Baseball Simulation
LONG QUESTION wont fit but please answer.?

You are trying to collect all nice baseball cards for an All Star team. Each package of cards he can buy has one card of a member of the team. The cards are equally distributed among all the packages. How could you use simulation to estimate the number of packages of cards you will need to buy yo get all nice cards

You need to create what is known as a Monte Carlo simulation.

1) Predict the probability of each player of appearing in a card deck.
2) Randomly assign cards to a deck, limiting the size of each deck.
3) Determine how many all stars or cards that you need were in the present deck.
4) Continue running the simulation for as many "decks" as needed...stop and count the number of decks when you have obtained all cards.

The key here is to assign probabilies to each card...remember that you can get X All-Stars and Y regular cards in a deck of X+Y cards, where X can be any number between 0 and X+Y and Y can be any number between 0 and X+Y. You have to account for the probability of obtaining duplicates as well.
